Italian Tull Fan Club - www.itullians.com

Born in 1996 thanks to the effort of Aldo Tagliaferro (boldly self-proclaimed "president") and Alberto Cadoppi (mysteriously" past-president" since the beginning), the Italian Jethro Tull fan club" Itullians" celebrates its eighth year of Tullities.

First tentative contacts with the band go back to early 90's. Then, waiting with little more Aldo, Ian, and Albertothan insufficient schemes outside the backstage door, and bothering omnipresent Kenny Wylie, Aldo and Alberto made their way to Ian himself who welcomed them heartily (and still does!). Meetings with band members followed through the years, as well as a glass of Italian white wine with Martin, and a few parties after the show with big Doane and ever-smiling Andy.

More than 300 subscribers receive the magazine "Itullians" every three months (-ish) and happily gather at the annual convention which usually hosts Tull past and present members. Glenn Cornick paved the way in '97 for the later coming of Clive Bunker, John Evan, Jonathan Noyce, and David Palmer. In 2001 the current Tull line-up turned up for the 6th convention delivering a tremendous performance with borrowed (and unpaid for) instruments. In 2002 "Itullians" worked on the organization of IA orchestral gigs along with Italian classic flute player Andrea Griminelli.

"Itullians" also promotes local gigs in the club circuit of Tull cover bands, mainly Beggar's Farm who host on an almost regular basis the good services of Clive Bunker, Jonathan pisa italy leaning fluteNoyce and David Palmer, with whom they recorded a live album. A few more tribute CD projects have been (and still are) involving " Itullians".

A few pivotal "Itullians" members are the backbone of the club: Dino Tinelli (our spiritual guide), Franco "workingallday" Taulino, Maurizio "Kallarma" Traina, Beppe "collector" D'Agostino, Lincoln "webmaster" Veronese, Persio " old webmaster" Tincani, Nando "kena" Frighetto.
