James Duncan

James DuncanJames has been playing drums since the age of 13. His first band, "Chequered Rain" failed to achieve any real chart success and he moved into the world of sessions. Being based in London, he regularly recorded and performed live with many bands and artists, working in Jazz, Pop and rock genres. In 2002 he worked with Ian Anderson on his "Rubbing Elbows" US tours and has remained on the stool since.

James plays Roland Electronic Drums on the orchestral shows, DW on acoustic shows, Zildjian Cymbals, DW pedals, ProMark drum sticks & rods and Evans drums heads. He uses Shure in-ear monitoring, Hardcase drum cases and Samson Audio.
